ports of embarkation / disembarkation, you will receive a charter agreement for signature. In the charter agreement; the charter rate includes the hire of the
yacht with all its equipment in working order , the crew’s wages , the crew’s subsistence , the insurance of the
yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s
liability. All other operating expenses are payable by the charterer as fuel
for engines and generators , fuel for tenders and motorized water toys ,
harbour fees & taxes , custom clearances and agency fees, all food & drinks , communication costs and others.
In the
booking some yachts (mostly motorsailers and gulets) , the EMT

terms may apply to the charter contracts ! The charter rate includes; the fuel
for up to 3-4 hours cruising per day, fuel for generators (usually limited to
A/C usage hours per day) , public harbour fees & taxes.
We will provide
full details of any charter terms when
presenting the relevant yachts.
In addition
to the charter fee, you will also be asked to pay an APA (Advance Provisioning
Allowance)! This guarantee deposit
is used to cover all expenses not included in the charter rate. Depending on
the yacht, the provisioning requested by the Charterer, the number of guests
and the days of the cruise, the client pay the respective amount. The APA
amount is usually 25-30% of the charter fee. This is given to the yacht’s
Captain in cash , prior to your embarkation , to allow the Captain and the crew
to buy fuel , provision the yacht with food & drinks as per your demands ,
and cover any other expenses relating to your charter ( including harbour fees
& taxes , fuel for generators , fuel for tenders or motorized water toys ,
laundry , airport transfers and others ). The Captain will ensure that your
yacht is fully fueled and provisioned when you step on board. He will advise
you periodically as to the disbursement of the APA , and can ask you to
re-provision if the balance is not big enough to finish the charter. At the end
of the charter , the captain will produce full accounts and receipts of all
expenditure which is charged on an at-cost basis ! You will either be refunded
any money not used or asked to pay any additional costs not covered by the APA.
Charter rates are quoted per week for the hire of
the yacht! The period less than a week may be accepted, depending on the time
season. Charters over seven days are calculated pro-rata against the weekly
rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of days. High season rates apply to the most popular
charter periods ; July and August ! Low season rates apply to all other
periods.
Delivery / Re-delivery fees may be applied to charters
that require the yacht to start or finish your charter away from the yacht’s
home port! .
